Amanda Keller began her professional media career in 1983 as a researcher for the children’s television program Simon Townsend’s Wonder World!

Later on, she worked as both a researcher and producer on Good Morning Australia. Next, she joined the daytime program Midday, where she worked as a researcher and producer.

After that, she went on to be part of the Extra Dimensions programme. Soon after, Amanda Keller gained wider recognition when she joined the internationally successful science program Beyond 2000.

She also became a regular guest on Andrew Denton’s talk show Denton in 1994. After the show ended in 1995, she joined Andrew Denton at Triple M to co-host the breakfast radio show. 

Around the same time, she also hosted her own cable television program, The Hub.

In 2004, she hosted the pop-culture themed program Mondo Thingo. Two years later, she competed in Dancing with the Stars.

She later expanded into acting roles, appearing in the SBS comedy series Swift and Shift Couriers in 2008 and reprising the role again in 2011.

That same year she also had a minor role in the sitcom Housos. From 2009 to 2012, Amanda Keller served as team leader on Network Ten’s quiz show Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation.

That year she also appeared as a news reporter in the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful alongside Brendan Jones and Ita Buttrose. 

Later on, in 2019, she returned to Dancing with the Stars, this time as a co-host with Grant Denyer.
