Eldoret town has in the recent past been the hotbed of the hottest and biggest events in the country.
The town has also hosted some of world’s famous musicians and other talents whose visits and performances put the town on the map.
The heat is not about to come down in Eldoret as the city looks forward to host award-winning South African musician Tyler ICU.
Nairobi News has learnt The Baniyas Square and The Backyard Soirée will be flying in the King of Amapiano into Eldoret for a thrilling performance scheduled for Sunday, October 5, 2025.

The event, dubbed Tyler ICU Live In Eldoret is expected to pull a massive crowd of Amapiano lovers drawn from different parts of the county.
According to a poster about the event doing rounds on social media, gates will be opened at 12.00 pm and attendees will be treated to a series of entertaining sets from deejays and local music acts.
The headliner of the show, Tyler ICU will wrap things up with a probable electrifying performance.
This publication has learnt Early Bird tickets have been sold out.
However, people can grab their tickets through Mtickets, where Advance tickets go for Sh 1,500, while Gate charges will be Sh 2,000.
VIP tickets are going for Sh 4,000 only.
Representatives from The Backyard Soirée and The Baniyas Square assured people intending to attend the show to look forward to a night like no other.
It should be noted Tyler ICU is one of the few Amapiano artists from South Africa to ever visit or rather perform in Kenya.
This will be the first time for Tyler ICU to perform in the country, with Eldoret being his first destination.
Tyler ICU, born Austin Khulani Baloyi is a South African deejay and music producer.
He was born and raised in Kempton Park, Guateng.

Tyler rose to prominence subsequent to the release of hit song “Mnike” which was certified platinum in South Africa, and peaked at number one for sixteen consecutive weeks on The Official South African Charts and Billboard South Africa songs.
He was introduced to the mainstream in 2020 when he put out his single “Bella Ciao” with Nicole Elocin alongside DJ Maphorisa and Kabza de Small which led an extended play Money Heist.
In 2021 he released “Banyana” with DJ Maphorisa which was certified double platinum.
He is currently riding high with his massive club banger “Mnike”.
Tyler ICU was nominated for Best African Act at the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards amid the success of “Mnike”.
Unfortunately on October 19, Paramount Global announced that the ceremony was canceled due to the Gaza war.
