Nairobi News conducted an estimation based on standard YouTube earning rates to determine how much IShowSpeed may have made from that single stream.

Estimates for the entertainment industry category, which he falls under show that YouTube pays creators between KSh200,000 and KSh1.3 million per one million views, depending on factors such as audience location, watch time, ad engagement and advertiser demand.

Using a conservative average of KSh500,000 per one million views, and with IShowSpeed garnering an estimated 48 million views from the Kenya stream alone, our calculations suggest that the streamer could have earned approximately KSh24 million from YouTube revenue generated by that single live broadcast.

It should be noted that YouTube was not the only platform carrying the stream.

IShowSpeed also went live on other platforms, where he earns additional income through ads, fan donations, subscriptions and platform-specific monetisation tools.

These extra revenue streams significantly boost his overall earnings beyond YouTube alone.
