A shocking video from southern China shows a woman clinging to the exterior of a high-rise apartment building as she attempts to avoid being discovered by her lover’s wife, a dramatic scene that has quickly captured global attention online.
Residents in Guangdong province watched in disbelief as the woman dangled from a 10th-floor balcony, appearing at several moments to lose her grip.
In the footage, a shirtless man can be seen speaking to her through a window before stepping back inside.

The video shows her sliding down a water pipe and knocking frantically on a neighbor’s window.
The occupant eventually opens the window and pulls her to safety.
Local reports say the married man pushed his mistress onto the balcony in a panic when his wife unexpectedly returned home, forcing the woman into the dangerous escape attempt.
The recording spread rapidly across Chinese social media, with many users saying the pair had been left “socially dead” by the public exposure and would face lasting humiliation.
Others warned that climbing the outside of a high-rise building carries extreme risks and could easily have resulted in a fatal fall.

Kenyan Man Falls Off 14th Floor Of a Kilimani Apartment
The incident follows a separate tragedy in Kilimani, Nairobi, Kenya where a young man fell off an apartment building and lost his life.
As earlier reported by a cross section of the Kenyan media, police launched investigations into an incident where a fight between a man and his girlfriend ended tragically when the man died after falling from the 14th floor of an apartment along Kindaruma Road, Kilimani Nairobi.
The body of the deceased was found sprawled on the rooftop of a parked salon car moments after his fall from the balcony of the apartment.
Guards and neighbours at the apartment heard a thud, and on checking, they found the body on the roof of the car at the parking lot with visible injuries on both legs which had broken.
Police investigations showed the man and his girlfriend, aged 48, had checked into the room on November 28, 2025, for the weekend.
On Saturday, they were joined by another male friend for a drinking spree in the house, which ran up to Sunday dawn.
The woman told police the friend left the apartment later on.
Moments later, the man and woman differed, leading to an argument and deceased assaulting the woman.
This led to a physical fight for a few minutes as the woman asked the man to leave her room.
It was then that the woman is alleged to have pushed him off the balcony.
He fell off onto the rooftop of a parked car, dying instantly.
