President William Ruto, who is also the leader of the Kenya Kwanza Party, chaired the alliance’s parliamentary group meeting at State House in Nairobi on Friday.
The meeting was held ahead of the anticipated signing of an agreement with ODM leader Raila Odinga.

The session saw the presence of Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, as well as Kenya Kwanza governors and Members of Parliament (MPs).

During the meeting, President Ruto emphasized the importance of putting the nation and its people first, regardless of political affiliations.
“This is the time to put Kenya and the people ahead of any other consideration.

We will work together, our political inclinations notwithstanding, to take our country forward. Kenya, and the people, must succeed,” the President stated.
The meeting comes as part of ongoing efforts to foster unity and collaboration between political leaders in the country, with a shared focus on advancing the national agenda.
