Kenyan comedian and entrepreneur Sammy Kioko has once again shown his unrelenting spirit as his dispute with the Machakos County Government and Governor Wavinya Ndeti over an unpaid multimillion-shilling tender continues to escalate.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, November 2, 2025, Sammy Kioko called on his fans and well-wishers to pray for him and his company, which he says has been fighting for months to receive payment for a tender fully delivered to the county.
In his heartfelt caption, Sammy Kioko maintained that justice may delay but can never be denied, vowing that the truth would ultimately prevail over political games and smear tactics.

“Justice might delay but it never hides. The truth is louder than politics. Remember us in your prayers,” he wrote.
His post sparked widespread reactions online, with fans, fellow entertainers, and concerned Kenyans flooding social media to demand accountability from Governor Wavinya Ndeti’s administration.
Many criticised the county government for allegedly withholding payment for services already rendered.
The renewed public uproar comes just three days after Kioko publicly accused the Machakos County Government of failing to pay his company Sh19 million for products and services delivered.
The comedian revealed that he has camped outside the county offices for over a year, pursuing the payment in vain.
However, in a quick rebuttal, the Machakos County Government issued a public statement, seen by Nairobi News, denying the allegations and insisting that neither the county nor the governor owes Kioko or his company any money.

The statement further claimed that Kioko’s outcry was politically motivated and aimed at tarnishing the county’s image.
Despite the county’s firm denial, Kioko has refused to back down, with support for him growing online as Kenyans rally behind his pursuit of justice.
His persistence has turned the issue into a national talking point about the treatment of young entrepreneurs and entertainers seeking government contracts.
