Bobi Wine’s wife Barbie gushes over hubby in romantic post during 24th wedding anniversary


Ugandan politician Bobi Wine is one of the luckiest men in the world who managed to fall in love and marry their first love of their lives.

Bobi cannot thank his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi enough for always standing by his side.

Their romance and subsequent marriage has been an inspiration to many young couple looking to have long lasting relationships.

Nairobi News has learnt Barbie and Bobi are celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, and the former cannot keep calm.

The politician’s wife took to social media and heaped praises on her hubby while marking their 24th year in marriage.

Barbie posted a an old photo from their wedding followed by a charming caption to celebrate her man and their union in general.

She disclosed that she is proud of Bobi for making countless sacrifices for their children.

Barbie vowed to love the politician for eternity.

“24 years by your side, and you still love me fiercely and selflessly. I would choose you endless times, again and again without hesitation in every lifetime to come. And babe.. I’m so proud of you for the sacrifices that you make for my children and myself but most especially for a freer and better Uganda. I loved you then, still love you so dearly and plan on loving you for eternity. Happy wedding anniversary Taata Bobi Wine,” she wrote.

Bobi Wine and Barbie Were Campus Lovers

Her message to hubby impressed most of her fans who thronged the comments section of her post to wish them all the happiness in their marriage.

It should be noted Barbie is Bobi’s first love.

Speaking during a previous media interview, Barbie narrated how they first met before becoming cordial.

“We met in 2001 December after Christmas, in the last week of December at the National Theater. That’s the first time I saw him. We were chosen to act in the same play Lady Will You Marry Me? Me from my school Bweranyangi Girls and him from Makerere University drama school,” she revealed.

“We started out as worst enemies!. I was a very born again girl and he looked like he was too worldly. I avoided him. At the beginning I’d greet everyone in the group but when it came to him, I would not greet. I never wanted to have anything to do with him!” She added.
