Former gospel musician Bahati has always been the darling of many people, thanks to the music he used to release while starting out.
Kenyans supported him fully and made him a global star hoping he would keep blessing them with gospel tunes.
However, the singer took a sudden flip and started releasing ‘worldly’ songs, losing quite a substantial amount of fans and followers while at it.
Well, the musician made things even worse recently when he dropped a controversial song accompanied by an equally unsatisfying raunchy music video.

The song dubbed Seti, which was uploaded on YouTube on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, rubbed a section of his fans and many Kenyans the wrong way.
The musician displayed high level of immorality through his voluptuous video vixen who kept shaking her money makers from the start of the visual to the end.
Tired of his shenanigans, countless people, including his wife Diana B, fellow celebrities and Kenyans in general called him out for forgetting God and sinking deep into worldly things, contrary to what he promised over 10 years ago.
The whole melee was started by Jalang’o who jumped in the comments section of one of Bahati’s Instagram posts and reminded him about the day he spoke in tongues while receiving the Male Gospel of the Year award, during the Groove Awards Gala in 2015.
Other Kenyans joined the bandwagon and wondered when the rain started beating Bahati, morphing him into a promoter of sin and worldly things.

It is important to note that during the 2015 Groove Awards, Bahati, spoke in tongues and promised God that he would not ditch the gospel industry after his victory.
“Enyewe kitu mimi naweza promise, na na promise mbele ya world, God sitawai kuwacha,” Bahati promised.
However, he went against his promise and totally failed to fulfill it if his recent music releases and publicity stunts are anything to go by.
