A fire at the Limuru Bus Park destroyed property and businesses worth millions of shillings, leaving traders to assess their losses.
The blaze, which broke out in the early hours of Thursday, March 13, was eventually brought under control, with no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined, and many traders are now uncertain of their next steps following the devastating destruction.
Preliminary reports suggest the fire started around 5:00 am at one of the hotels in the bus park, just as the businesses were opening for the day.

The fire quickly spread, engulfing more than ten establishments, most of which were made of aluminum, and caused significant damage to valuable property.
The Limuru Bus Park, a vital hub for public transportation and a key economic center for the area, houses hundreds of small businesses, food stalls, and residential units.
It also serves as a matatu stage, making it a crucial part of the region’s infrastructure.
As of the time of reporting, neither the Kiambu County Government nor the police had issued an official statement on the incident.
This fire comes just days after another blaze in Mamboleo, Kisumu, which destroyed part of the market near the city’s bus stage.
The fire, which started on the night of Sunday, March 9, at a food joint, quickly spread to nearby buildings.
The flames, which ignited around 9:00 pm, posed a serious threat to other investments near the Kisumu County bus park.
However, local business owners, with help from authorities, managed to contain the fire before it could cause further damage.
