A Kenyan TikToker recently cracked netizens and smiled all the way to the bank while at it after selling one of the cheapest and basic items found in most Kenyan homes.
The content creator who goes by Wiz The King 254 on TikTok posted several videos of himself on TikTok showing how he tried to sell an old and used sufuria used to cook ugali to different foreigners on the Uhmegle site.

After several failed pitches, Wiz finally landed a client who agreed to buy the sufuria marketed as an “African artifact”.
In his pitches, Wiz The King 254 started by asking his prospects if they were interested in buying an African artifact.
“Would you be interested in buying African artifact,” he started as he tried to convince his prospects not to let the chance of their lifetime to pass them.
Nairobi News has learnt the young creative managed to sell the foreigner the sufuria at $2000, which is an equivalent of Sh 259,000.
Following reports that the content creator had sold the sufuria at the ridiculous amount, Kenyans thronged the comments section of his posts to heap praises on him for being a very good marketer.
Quite a number of netizens could not hold back their laughter while accusing the young lad of stealing his mother’s sufuria and selling it to foreigners as an artifact.
Many could not believe anyone in the world could purchase such a ‘useless’ item at such a huge price.
Others, however, noted that the boy was a typical Kenyan who is used to the rotten system and thrive by scamming unsuspecting people.
