Singer Willy Paul has awakened his longtime ‘beef’ with nemesis Bahati.
The Sitolia crooner, on Sunday, August 10, just moments after the Harambee Stars and Morocco CHAN match at Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani, took to Instagram to joke with Bahati about his earlier promise.
Nairobi News understands Bahati had earlier promised to gift Harambee Stars Sh 1 million should they beat Morocco.

In a video posted on Bahati’s Instagram, the singer and his wife all dressed in Harambee Stars jerseys stood outside their fancy mansion surrounded by luxury cars.
The two then unwrapped stacks of cash, amounting to Sh 1 million and promises to directly hand it over to Harambee Stars players if they smashed Morocco.
“We are doing something very special. We are coming to the stadium with this money. If Harambee Stars beat Morocco, we are going to be awarding them this money. Let’s do this,” Bahati said.
“Sisi tunapea players. Mkipiga hao watu na mtutolee aibu, we are giving you Sh 1 million,” he added.
Harambee Stars did not disappoint as they beat Morocco one goal against zero in a move that excited many Kenyans, among them Willy Paul.
The star took to Instagram and reminded Bahati to honour his promise and hand over the money to Harambee Stars players following their win.
“Bahati pelekea Stars wetu Sh 1 million yao. Asante,” Willy Paul wrote.
Well, Bahati seems to have received the memo and duly hit social media to respond by assuring everyone that they will be handing over the money to Harambee Stars players in a jiffy.
“Mitaa imeenda. Kusema na kutenda. Sasa it’s time for the boys to bag their money. As promised the MD and CEI of Bahati Bet are giving Sh 1 million to celebrate Harambee Stars win against Morocco,” he wrote.
