This has been proven countless times, thanks to his own revelation and different media interviews through which he laid it bare with the world.
The one half of Radio 47 Maskani presenters may have shared about his challenging journey with fans through his live show, but not many people knew about his “broke” past.
Mwalimu recently thought it wise to take his fans and followers down the memory lane by sharing about his journey through a series of social media posts sighted by Nairobi News.
In one post, the revered media personality posted an old photo of himself with his co-host Billy Miya showing how far they have come.
“Kabla Kombani Homes, Highway na PSG! Mbali imetoka kwetu, na ni kwa Neema 🤣,” Mbaruk captioned one of his photos.
In yet another one, the father of one posted an old photo of himself looking all frail, broke and hopeless followed by an encouraging caption to highlight his journey in the entertainment industry.
Through his post, Mbaruk disclosed that he really suffered way before landing his job at Radio 47.
He also noted that life was not easy even before landing some ambassadorial jobs.
Mbaruk encouraged his fans with his caption which read;
“Focus on you, until the focus is on YOU!
9 years ago💪🏽.”
His TBT photos attracted the attention of his fans and followers who thronged the comments section to drop a word or two.
Many thanked God for bringing Mbaruk Mwalimu this far, holding that indeed he has seen worst days before.
Today, Mbaruk Mwalimu is one of Kenya’s top radio personality with a hefty salary package and a lifestyle to compliment it all.
He has also landed a number of endorsement deals which have not only added weight to his bank account but also gave him the much needed recognition.
