Dr. Kizza Besigye, the Ugandan opposition leader, has gone on hunger strike after nearly three months in  detention while awaiting trial.His wife, Winnie Byanyima, revealed the demonstration and chastised President Yoweri Museveni’s administration for his continuing detention.
