Bonfire Adventures Safaris CEO Simon Kabu turned a year older on Thursday, September 18, 2025, and was duly accorded the treatment befitting his affluent status.
Being a loaded fellow with many friends in high places, he received countless birthday greetings and gifts as he celebrated his special day.
Well, many people in his circle may have given him great presents but his daughter Maurine Kabu surpassed everyone with a special birthday package for her dad.
Nairobi News has learnt Maurine treated her father to a huge money bouquet containing thousands of shillings.

The lass did not stop at that as she went ahead to fully sponsor her father’s holiday in Thailand.
To add icing on the cake, the young girl topped it off with Sh 1 million cash money to help her father navigate Thailand during his birthday vacation.
This was first made public by Kabu himself who posted a video of himself receiving his presents from Maurine on Thursday, September 18.
The businessman accompanied the video with a nice caption explaining the genesis of the expensive birthday present.
Kabu disclosed that he is proud of his daughter having shown how much she can be economical with money.
He narrated how he once gifted her Sh 2 million for her trip to Capetown, South Africa.
Unlike most kids who would splash all the money, Maurine only spent Sh 32,000, something that really impressed Kabu.
Kabu insisted that Maurine did not move him with the cash gift but the thought.

His post attracted the attention of his followers who thronged the comments section to laud both him and Maurine.
Many even claimed they wish they were in Kabu’s shoes to enjoy such treats from their children.
Others, however, called out both Kabu and Maurine holding that they had taken their bragging to a whole new level.
