Crazy Kennar ‘s Lover Opens Up About Losing Their Child Two Years after His Death


Comedian Crazy Kennar ‘s lover, Natalie Asewe, has finally gathered the strength to talk about the loss of their son in 2023.

Asewe recently took to social media to thank God for blessing them with a daughter, a couple of years after the loss of their week-old son.

In a heartfelt social media post sighted by Nairobi News on Thursday, December 25, Asewe opened up about her heartbreaking journey through grief, faith, and restoration.

Natalie reminisced about the pain she went through following the devastating loss of her first son in December 2023.

According to Kennar ‘s lover, the short time she spent with their son left an unforgettable mark on her life and truly tested her faith and resilience.

As earlier reported by a cross-section of the Kenyan media, Kennar and Asewe’s son passed away after just seven days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The mother of one revealed that the moment she was told her son would not survive was the hardest day of her life.

In her own words, the moment broke her completely but also taught her how to move on with a heart filled with sorrow while holding on to hope.

Natalie disclosed that she had to deal with immense grief, learning to process the pain of carrying and delivering a child she would never raise.

According to the comedian’s lover, faith can be both painful and sustaining.

“Seven days. That’s how long I held my son here on earth… The day my title changed to a mother who lost her child,” she posted.

Having gone through a bitter period, God blessed the couple with a daughter, whom Asewe describes as her ‘rainbow baby’ and a living testament to God’s restoration.

She referred to her daughter as a divine blessing, handpicked by her late brother in heaven, and celebrated the arrival as a moment of healing and hope.

Her message highlighted the enduring significance of her late son, affirming that his life mattered and continues to matter, while her daughter is a miracle, not a replacement.
