Musician Moses Tarus Omondi, popularly known as Mr Seed, has every reason to thank God after surviving a grisly road accident on January 1, 2026, New Year’s Day.
The singer took to social media to thank God for sparing his life as he updated fans on the incident.
In a post sighted by Nairobi News, Mr Seed shared a video showing the wreckage, a move that sent chills down the spines of his fans.
The video showed a completely damaged wheel rim and a shattered tyre lying detached on the asphalt.
Passers-by could be seen gathering around as the star filmed the aftermath of the accident.
“How my year has started. The devil is a liar,” he wrote in one of the captions.
Wrecked Car
In another clip, the singer recorded the rear of a silver vehicle bearing registration number KBR, which had sustained significant structural damage.
The bumper was partially torn off, and the taillight area was smashed.
Although the accident appeared serious, no casualties were reported.
“Glory to God, we are alive,” he wrote.
News of the accident raised concern among fans and other Kenyans, especially as this was his second accident in just two years.

It is important to note that in April 2023, the musician survived another serious road accident.
The crash claimed the life of one of his friends who was among the passengers in the vehicle.
The accident occurred along the Nakuru–Naivasha Highway on April 29, 2023.

Following the 2023 incident, Mr Seed disclosed that some of his brain functions, including concentration, were impaired.
According to the singer, he hit his head hard during the crash, which had a negative impact on his life.
He further revealed that doctors informed him he had sustained a brain injury, affecting his ability to concentrate.
