Top on the list is Pastor Charles Wachira, who leads a Kenyan diaspora-focused JCM International branch in the US, who publicly resigned from his role after Bishop Benson Kiengei and the JCM Church in Kenya invited President William Ruto to serve as the chief guest during the church’s third anniversary.

Wachira’s move was followed by a mother of all trolls targeting Kiengei for hosting Ruto at his church.

Quite a multitude of Kenyans called out the Bishop for allegedly dining with the same people persecuting Kenyans.

Many cautioned him against mixing politics and religion, warning that he risks losing congregants over the same.

Others outrightly claimed his interactions with Ruto and other UDA politicians could be the beginning of his end.
