Controversial city pastor Victor Kanyari has once again found himself at the centre of public attention after making a surprising move aimed at changing the life of viral woman Marion Naipei.
According to reports published by nairobinews.co.ke and other online platforms, Pastor Kanyari has decided to step in and support Marion Naipei’s livelihood after weeks of public drama surrounding their association.
Kanyari, who a couple of weeks ago took Marion under his wings, is said to have opened a business for the controversial lady in a bid to help her sustain herself and get back on her feet.

On Sunday, February 22, the outspoken preacher unveiled Marion’s new venture, a backless dera dresses business, during his church service.
In a move that left congregants surprised, Kanyari and Marion unleashed countless pieces of the backless deras in front of the church audience, showcasing the stock and officially announcing the launch.
During the unveiling, the following caption was shared:
“Marion Naipei Main has officially started a business.”
The latest move by Kanyari quickly ignited reactions online, with countless netizens lauding him for what they termed as a positive step toward salvaging Marion’s life.
Many congratulated the pastor for empowering her economically, noting that such actions were more meaningful and impactful.
However, some online users also used the opportunity to remind Kanyari that supporting Marion through empowerment was what he should have been doing all along, instead of allegedly trying to bed her, claims that have previously fueled heated debates on social media.
This development comes just days after Kanyari publicly claimed that he had ditched Marion, arguing that he was tired of her behaviour.
At the time, the pastor insinuated that Marion could not change her old ways, a factor he said influenced his decision to dump her altogether.
Despite the mixed reactions, the launch of the backless dera business marks a new chapter for Marion Naipei, as she attempts to rebuild her life under the spotlight, with many now keenly watching to see whether the venture will indeed help her achieve long-term stability.
