“Wagwaaaan wadau! After an amazing chapter at NRG Radio, we, 3Men Army and DJ Refund are officially signing off.

It’s been nothing but love, laughs and unforgettable moments on and off the mic. We appreciate everyone who tuned in, rocked with us and made this journey unforgettable.

NRG Radio Mass Exit

3Men Army’s exit came quite as a surprise to many who believe the trio was somewhat the glue that held NRG Radio and their audience together.

Prior to their exit, the trio hosted a number of shows on the station, ranging from breakfast, drive to weekend shows.

Not only did the three help in amplifying NRG Radio’s brand on air but also on social media and on the ground thanks to their funny skits, collaborations with other content creators and activations.

Many listeners connected with the trio because of their understanding of how Kenyans live on ground.

NRG Radio may be an urban station but 3Men Army brought in the common mwananchi vibe which helped them to attract even more ears and eyeballs both on radio and online.

Their exit from NRG Radio comes just months after other notable personalities ditched the station.
