Kiengei’s post came just hours after Kaluma Boy received massive criticism from netizens after sharing photos of himself enjoying a burger.

A section of online users blasted him, accusing him of embracing a “soft life” using money that had earlier been contributed by well-wishers to support his struggling family.

Many Kenyans had donated money for Kaluma Boy after he opened up about his difficult circumstances, particularly his efforts to care for his ailing father.

His story touched many hearts, prompting an outpouring of financial and material support from members of the public.

However, his recent social media post showing him enjoying a simple treat sparked debate online.
