Her announcement came after weeks of following up on her balance and subsequent social media posts calling out CHAN and other involved parties for the delays.
As earlier reported by Nairobi News, Zuchu took to social media on September, 18, 2025, and expressed her disappointment at the delay, holding that her management had been in constant communication with LEAP Creative Agency, the entity that had been contracted to handle her performance, without much success.
“I am writing to express my concern and frustration regarding the outstanding payment for my recent performance in Nairobi on August 30th, 2025. As per our agreement with your agents at LEAP Creative Agency, the full balance for my services was due upon completion of the event. Yet, despite my team’s and my continuous patience and understanding, I have yet to receive the full payment,” she wrote.
According to the WCB signee, the agency had sent proof of payment (POPs) that later turned out to be unverifiable and suspicious.
She expressed her disappointment at the lack of professionalism and respect, calling out the organisers for not meeting their end of the agreement.
She wrapped up by declaring that she would not tolerate the delay any longer.
