Content creator Dem Wa Facebook has gifted her parents a brand-new house and encouraged youth to remain focused and keep dreaming.
On December 15, 2024, Dem shared photos and videos on her social media platform from the opening ceremony of the newly built three-bedroom bungalow, which is fully furnished.
In the video, she compared her former modest home with the new house, showcasing the spacious living and dining areas adorned with state-of-the-art furniture. In her caption, she urged young people to stay motivated and work hard.
“Just to inspire my fellow youth that nothing is impossible, let’s keep pushing and believing in God. Your time is coming,” she wrote.
Dem had previously shared updates on the construction of the house, which was built in her hometown of Trans Nzoia County.
Her accomplishment has garnered praise from fellow content creators, including Oga Obinna, who has collaborated with her in 2024.
“I hope all women from everywhere in the world have today realized that it is possible!!! Let this be a testimony that God can, and He will.
What a man can do…exactly. Congratulations are in order. God first,” he wrote in his post.
Another content creator, Milly Chebby, also congratulated Dem, saying, “Oohhh God, we left home to change.
May we all who desire to change receive God’s blessings to change home; may God provide.”
Dem Wa Facebook, whose real name is Millicent Oyuwa, is a Kenyan content creator who gained popularity through skits with media personality and fellow creator Oga Obinna.
She rose to fame in 2022 after a humorous video went viral, where she confronted men who suggested women should bear children to secure marriage.
Obinna has been a key mentor to Dem, helping her grow her brand and securing various brand ambassador roles.
In an interview, Dem shared that she made her first million in 2024 after saving diligently.
She expressed that building a new home for her parents was one of her greatest achievements, saying, “As women, we will always go back to our parents.
My home is not something I was proud of. I wanted to make sure my family had a home they could be proud of.”
