German Juice hitmaker Cynthia Morgan has come out guns blazing accusing her former boss Jude Okoye of taking advantage of her.
The musician slammed Jude for speaking negatively about her not long after their somewhat bitter split.
In an Instagram stories update seen by Nairobi News, Cynthia Morgan disclosed that she has tried to make peace with Jude severally in vain because the latter has not been cooperative.
“All you have done since 2016 is talk behind my back. All efforts to see you in person have been to no avail. It is news that I am disappointed in you and I know you are also disappointed in yourself, hence your no face policy,” she wrote.
The star narrated how she was forced to change her name because of Jude.
Morgan went on to reveal how Jude even illegally took all of her earnings from music.
In her post, Morgan wrote;
”I regret ever changing my name. If I had to, I would have fought for everything that rightfully belongs to me. My silence should not be mistaken for stupidity. If I were truly lying, Jude would have already taken legal action against me. However, he hasn’t, because doing so would require him to provide evidence of my alleged debt to him. Enough with the false accusations. Our contract was 50/50 agreement. If you refuse to return my catalog, at least have the decency to admit your evil and acknowledge that you are intentionally withholding what is mine. Stop spreading lies about a debt that doesn’t exist. If you insist that I owe you, then provide the proof He took the catalog I worked for all my life, and you think I will sit back and watch? I was angry; that was why I changed my name.”
“He didn’t take my name; that was my name and my grandfather’s name. Cynthia is my name, and Morgan is my grandfather’s name. I was Cynthia Morgan before I met him. 60% of my catalog he took; he didn’t know how I created those songs, he never paid for them. I have ties with the catalog; when he took them, I had to change my name thinking it could be a rebirth for me. SUE HIM SUE HIM!!!” She added.
Morgan wrapped up by stating that she had left everything to God who will equalise everything for her in her case with Jude Okoye.
“But you see, I know I had to reap my own destruction for sowing in flesh. You too will reap yours for being an instrument and for holding back such earnings through dishonesty. As we all know God cannot be mocked,” she said.
