A daring and fearless man has become an overnight online sensation after a viral video emerged showing him stealing from a Catholic priest mid-sermon.
The man was caught on camera dipping his hand into a small offertory basket held by the priest and sneaking out a few notes before casually walking away.
The incident unfolded inside a popular nightclub in Eldoret.

The priest, identified as Padre Michael, made an unexpected appearance at MP Oscar Sudi’s famous Eldoret establishment on Friday night, November 21, on an extraordinary mission to “harvest souls.”
Videos of Padre Michael mingling with revelers quickly flooded social media, sending Kenyans into a frenzy.
Unlike the typical partygoers who flocked to the club armed with brown and green bottles, Padre Michael stepped in armed with the gospel, determined to save souls in a space many religious leaders would never dare enter.
His presence sparked intense debate online, with Kenyans split over his unconventional approach.
In several viral clips, the priest is seen blessing patrons, praying for them, and urging them to choose Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, right in the middle of the pulsating nightclub atmosphere.
However, in a new viral video, a man is seen robbing the priest as he moves around collecting offerings from revelers.
The man, pretending to dance next to the priest, quickly grabs a few notes from the basket before turning away as though nothing happened.
The footage has sparked mixed reactions online, with many netizens condemning the thief for stealing from a man of God.
Countless Kenyans warned that his actions will not go unpunished, insisting that God will deal with him personally.
