Former CS Fred Matiang’i Dazzles Netizens With Thrilling Gen Z Dance Moves


Former CS Fred Matiang’i and a host of other opposition leaders on Thursday, July 3, took over the Western part of Kenya in a charged up political tour.

During the tour, DCP party leader Rigathi Gachagua, the party’s Secretary General Cleophas Malala, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, Kalonzo Musyoka, Fred Matiang’i and other members of Kenya’s unofficial opposition party caused ripples even as they tore through the region.

Well, the highlight of the political tour was Fred Matiang’i ‘s engagement with wananchi, especially when he dropped his serious demeanor for a more lighter leader.

Matiang’i, during a stop over at Nambale in Vihiga County endeared himself with the crowd by showing off his hidden talent; Dance.

Presidential hopeful Fred Matiang’i flaunted his dance moves by sensationally jamming to a popular reggae tune as the Western Kenya tour intensified.

In a video that has fast gone viral on social media, Matiang’i was spotted bursting some nice and slow reggae moves that excited his supporters who could not help but cheer him on.

Countless social media users who came across the video lauded the politician for proving to the world that he is still in touch with ‘commoners’ despite his larger than life social status.

While the unofficial opposition’s tour in the Western part of the country was a total success, it did not miss some misfortunes.

Reports reaching Nairobi News ‘ news desk intimate that the group faced hostility in some areas.

Unconfirmed reports disclosed that the group faced violence in some areas.

According to members of the unofficial opposition side who sought anonymity, police and hired goons tried to block the Gachagua-led troupe from accessing Kakamega town but their efforts were futile.
