Content creator and media personality Oga Obinna has been left heartbroken after discovering that his youngest daughter, Ella, no longer remembers him, barely a month since their last meeting.
On Monday evening, December 1, the YouTuber shared a video capturing the emotional moment he attempted to reconnect with his daughter, only for the reunion to go unexpectedly wrong.
Nairobi News understands Ella had been brought to Samaki Samaki Restaurant, where Oga Obinna often films his shows, for a brief meet-up with her father.
However, the moment he held her in his arms, the little girl burst into tears, calling for her mother to take her back.

In the clip, Obinna appears visibly shaken and confused, struggling to understand how his own child could forget him in such a short time.
Taking to Instagram, he posted the video of their encounter, accompanied by a caption overflowing with disappointment and pain.
“Jamani 🥹🥹🥹 mtoto hanikumbuki yawa 🙆🏿♂️🙆🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ I have too many questions but well… we move. #theobinna” he wrote.
This emotional moment comes shortly after Oga Obinna hinted that fatherhood with his fifth child has been far from smooth.
In a recent interview with YouTuber Thee Pluto, he revealed that he rarely has access to Ella, despite his efforts.
Obinna, who shares Ella with his fourth baby mama, Tallie, disclosed that he often receives little to no acknowledgement when he reaches out.

“Where I am currently, I am in a place where if you want to bring her, you can, and if not, it is fine. But right now, I am in a space where I can only send, yet there is no acknowledgement, no appreciation, and no access to the child,” he said.
He further expressed frustration that he mostly sees his daughter through TikTok videos instead of real-life interactions.
“I actually only see my child on TikTok being posted with people like Latifa. Yes, I see my child on TikTok, and I say, ‘Well, that is interesting,’” he added.
Ella was born in September 2024, but her birth was only made public a year later in September 2025, after Obinna revealed he had welcomed a fifth child.
