Huddah Monroe Claims She Prophesied William Ruto’s Presidency When None Believed in Him

Socialite and beauty entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has started the incubation of an issue that could possibly send critics her way after claiming that she foresaw William Ruto’s rise to the presidency long before he became a serious political contender.

Huddah, who has largely kept a distance from active politics over the years, shocked many of her fans and followers after revealing that she had always been rooting for Ruto, even at a time when few believed in his political future.

The unexpected disclosure quickly drew attention, especially given her history of publicly criticising the current administration.

The outspoken socialite made the revelation through a series of Instagram Stories posted on Wednesday, December 17.

In the posts, Huddah shared an old photo of herself standing next to William Ruto, taken years before he even announced his bid for the presidency.

Although she did not specify when the photo was taken, Huddah confidently stated that she knew Ruto would one day rule Kenya.

The image, which has since generated mixed reactions online, appeared to date back nearly a decade.

In the photo, both Huddah and Ruto looked noticeably younger, leaner and less polished, an indication that it was captured long before Ruto ascended to the country’s highest office.

According to Huddah, the moment marked the beginning of her belief in his political destiny.

Through her caption, the beauty mogul claimed that she made the prophecy to one of her friends whose father was the sitting president at the time, insisting that she saw greatness in Ruto when others dismissed him.

“And with Ruto. He was a nobody here but I told my friend whose father was the president then that Ruto will one day be President,” she wrote.

Huddah further insisted that no one took Ruto seriously back then, but she chose to trust her instincts and support him regardless of public opinion.

She said her admiration stemmed from her love for people who championed the hustler narrative and fought for the common mwananchi.

She also revealed that her bold prediction was partly meant to provoke her friend and his powerful family, who she claims looked down on Ruto at the time.

“My friend was like why are you taking photos with him? They really looked down on the fella then, na bcoz mimi ni supporter wa hustlers. Exact words I said: This guy will be President one day. Just to piss off my friend and his dad who was President then,” she disclosed.

Despite her claims, Huddah’s statements left many fans confused, given her recent and consistent criticism of President Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza administration.

Over the past months, the socialite has openly condemned the government for failing to deliver on key campaign promises.

Through her social media platforms, Huddah has repeatedly called out Ruto and his administration, accusing them of dragging the country into economic hardship.

The apparent contradiction between her past support and current criticism has sparked debate online, with netizens questioning where her political loyalties truly lie.

As expected, her revelations have continued to fuel conversations across social media, once again placing Huddah Monroe at the centre of a viral moment, this time blending celebrity influence, politics and prophecy into one headline-grabbing narrative.
