The love some fan have for their favorite celebrities can drive them to do almost anything for an up close and personal encounter.
A young Nairobi music enthusiast recently risked his life trying to access the stage during a performance by his favorite Femcee, Dyana Cods.
A video circulating online, which has quickly gone viral, shows the young man sneaking past event security and rushing toward the stage, where Dyana was entertaining fans.
Although he made it to the stage, a terrible slip turned what could have been a cherished moment into a near-tragic accident as he fell on his back, almost breaking it.
In the video, posted by Dyana Cods on her Instagram page, security guards are seen helping the fan back to his feet before escorting him off the stage.
Luckily, the fan walked away unharmed despite the frightening fall.
The incident, which occurred during the recently concluded Nairobi Festival, sparked reactions online, with many netizens laughing and ridiculing the young man.
Some questioned why anyone would risk their safety for a brief moment with their favorite celebrity.
This is not the first time such incidents have made headlines.
Nairobi News recently reported a similar occurrence involving Nigerian singer Davido.
On November 29, 2025, Davido performed at the Parc des Expositions in Abidjan during his Five Alive Tour.
The concert was electrifying, with fans screaming and singing along to the award-winning artistās biggest hits.
Midway through the show, a visibly aggressive fan charged toward the stage and managed to get close to Davido.
A video that later went viral shows the man sprinting past security, prompting the singer to quickly raise his guard.
Fortunately, Davidoās bodyguards intercepted the fan before any physical contact, allowing the performer to step back and continue his performance.

Moments later, he returned to check on the situation as security restrained the man.
Davido then instructed his guards to release the fan and resumed the show to loud cheers from the crowd.
Online viewers noted that the āUnavailableā hitmaker appeared momentarily startled, but many praised him for handling the situation calmly and peacefully, avoiding the more forceful approach some celebrities might have taken.
