Man found murdered, body abandoned on field in Oloolua, Kajiado County


Detectives are investigating the murder of a man whose body was found abandoned on an open field in Oloolua area, Kajiado County. The body had a deep cut on the head when it was discovered behind a bakery and long after his murder.

The motive of the murder was not established even as police said they had arrested a suspect in connection to the incident.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.

In Nyamira’s Ekerenyo area, one Bernard Nyakwara, 34 was killed over claims he stole chicken from a home. Police said he was assaulted by a known suspect who is his nephew and who escaped the scene. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.

In the Kamukunji area, Nairobi, a man was found dead after suspected assault. The police said the body was found along Quarry Road on Sunday morning and moved to the mortuary pending identification and autopsy.

The motive of the murder was not immediately established.

Along Park Road in Nairobi, a man collapsed and died outside a bank. Witnesses said the man identified as Charles Irungu, 38 was walking outside the Family Bank Park Road branch when he collapsed and died. Two ambulances which responded to the scene confirmed he had died. The cause of the death was not immediately known as the body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.

In Langobaya, Kilifi County, one Ramadhan Mzinga, 35 was killed over claims he was a serial thief. Police said the body of the deceased was found on the roadside long after his killing. He had been stoned to death in the attack. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.
