A parent of a Form Three pupil at Nyasoko Secondary School in Suna West, Migori County, is seeking justice after his son was reportedly attacked by a teacher, resulting in injuries.
The event took place last Saturday, when the student was allegedly assaulted for capturing images with classmates at a sports event.
The father of the student, Julius Abich, mentioned that his son sustained serious injuries and is now being treated at Pastor Machage Hospital in Migori town.
Abich noted that his son has been experiencing nosebleeds since the assault.
Abich stated that the instructor accused of assaulting his son told him the student was sent home for treatment.
Nonetheless, when he went to the school, he was refused a meeting with the staff.
Abich informed Piny Oyie Police Station about the situation before rushing his son to the hospital.
The father is currently pursuing justice and calling on the appropriate authorities to take legal measures against the culpable parties.
