Content creator Presenter Kai has stirred excitement among his fans after boldly declaring his entry into politics.
Kai, who has been thriving in the content creation space, revealed that he will be contesting the Kilifi Senatorial seat in the 2027 General Election.
The popular YouTuber broke the news on the evening of Saturday, November 15, through his social media platforms.
In a post seen by Nairobi News, Kai shared a campaign-style poster bearing his image, accompanied by a message urging Kilifi residents to vote for him as their next Senator in 2027.
He further told his fans to start familiarising themselves with their “incoming Senator” early enough.
He also passed his honourable greetings to his fans.

“Your incoming Kilifi Senator 2027 amewasalimia,” he wrote.
Presenter Kai’s announcement sparked mixed reactions across social media, with many fans advising him to tread carefully before diving into politics.
Others, however, encouraged him, saying they would gladly vote for him.
A section of netizens joined the fun by suggesting he choose Diana Yegon, popularly known as My Wife, as his running mate.

However, it remains unclear whether Kai is genuinely pursuing a political career or simply riding on the wave of attention following the release of his new gospel track.
Nairobi News understands that Kai featured Tanzanian gospel star Rose Muhando in the song, which was officially released on Friday, November 14.
The track, titled Utachoka Bure, had garnered 75,000 views on YouTube at the time of publishing this story.
