Sarah Kabu discloses marriage to Simon Kabu was fake; “15 years married, 11 years fake!”

Tours and travel businesswoman Sarah Kabu, who now goes by Sarah Mtalii, has opened up about when troubles in her marriage with estranged husband Simon Kabu began.

Sarah recently disclosed that the first years of her marriage were good, but things went south after the fourth year.

According to Sarah Kabu, their marriage was solid and real in the first four years, but she was forced to fake it for the remaining 11 years, pretending that all was well in their paradise.

Speaking during a candid interview with Alex Mwakideu on his latest podcast, the businesswoman admitted that she received pressure from society to remain in the marriage because women in marriage were respected.

The couple had been married for 15 years before their divorce.

“Problems began in the 4th year. That is when I knew it was not what we vowed. In the 4th year after we were wedded, when I was pregnant with my son, that is when I realised there was trouble in paradise. I had left my marriage in 2013, but the internet never knew. Where there is money, cinema inabidi. You know in society, when you are married, you are respected. So I did the cinemas, and we became total strangers in the same house,” she revealed.

The revelation shook many netizens, who noted that she played the role so well that nobody could suspect she was faking it.

Fake or not, Mtalii moved on to the next one with a new lover and even introduced him to the public.

On Saturday, December 27, Sarah posted a video of herself welcoming her “Summer Bunny” boo to her new establishment, Mtalii Bush Camps, in Nanyuki.

In the video, the new CEO was seen running towards her man and embracing him romantically as she ushered him into their new establishment.

Dressed in all-white linen, Sarah seemed on top of the world as she reunited with her new man, whose name has not yet been publicly disclosed.

Watching the video, it is clear that the two are deeply in love.

It is not yet known when the couple began dating, but Sarah made it clear in her caption that her partner is her pillar of strength.

Judging by their conversation in the video, Sarah’s new man lives in the diaspora and had just landed in Kenya, making it a point to check in on his partner.

“#teamsarahmtalii join me to karibisha PILLAR OF STRENGTH @mtaliibushcamps Nanyuki,” she captioned the video.

Countless netizens who interacted with the post congratulated Sarah on her newfound romance.
