Suspect In Child Pornography Case Arraigned

A key suspect long sought by authorities for her alleged role in distributing child pornographic materials, has been arraigned.

Noel Naliaka Ndinyo’s arrest came after the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) flagged a Snapchat account tied to her email address as a hub for sharing illegal content.

Acting on this lead, detectives from the Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Protection Unit in Mombasa launched a meticulous operation, ultimately apprehending Naliaka at her hideout in Nyali Sub-County.

Appearing before the Shanzu Law Court, Naliaka was charged with multiple offences, including Online Child Exploitation Contrary to Section 22(3)(c) of the Children’s Act No. 29 of 2022. She pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Investigators strongly opposed her release on bond, and the court has scheduled May 9, 2025, for a ruling on bond terms.

Meanwhile, anti-narcotics detectives drawn from DCI headquarters have arrested Malik Aman, an Indian national at Iten and recovered assorted pharmaceutical products from his house.

The team of hawkshaws who have had the foreign national under their radar raided his house pursuant to a search warrant granted by an Iten court where they thereafter iventorized and carted away the exhibits.

The suspect, who had been placed in custody, was released on cash bail, to allow for thorough forensic examination of the said drugs at the government chemist.

Meanwhile, the war on sale, distribution and consumption of illicit drugs and any other banned substances continues.
