A suspect surrendered to the police after he had stabbed and killed a man in an altercation in a village in Merti, Isiolo County.
Police said Osman Hussein succumbed to the injuries after being stabbed in the shoulder on May 24 morning in a feud.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead while being attended to.
The incident happened in the Biliqo area, police said.
According to the police, after the news of the death spread, the suspect surrendered to the local authorities. He was detained pending grilling and possible arraignment for murder.
It is not yet clear what triggered the fight that turned tragic. Police said they were investigating it.
Elsewhere, police in Likoni, Mombasa County, arrested a 23-year-old woman following a domestic dispute in which her husband sustained burn injuries after allegedly being splashed with boiling tea.
Police said the victim had already been rushed to Amani Dispensary for treatment by the time officers arrived at the scene.
Investigators said preliminary findings indicate the incident stemmed from domestic disagreements.
Officers visited the victim at the dispensary and established that he was in stable condition while undergoing treatment for burns on the chest.
The suspect remains in police custody pending further investigations and possible arraignment.
And a man who was missing was found dead in a family borehole in Kamagambo, Migori County.
The family of Jacob Opiyo, 38 said they found the body floating in the borehole after a suspected suicide mission.
Police said the man was last seen on May 22 in the area after he had an argument with some of his family members over domestic issues.
The body was discovered two days later and later retrieved to the mortuary pending investigations and autopsy.
The motive of the incident was not known, police said adding investigations were ongoing.
