WaJesus Family Mauled Mercilessly Online for Using Sick Toddler for Views and Clout

Kabi Wa Jesus and his wife, Milly Wa Jesus, of the WaJesus Family have attracted negative publicity after pulling one of the most irresponsible moves ever.

Kenyans on social media have, in the past few hours, been having a field day with the WaJesus Family despite them nursing a sick child.

On Monday, December 22, Milly Wa Jesus took to social media to inform her fans about their lastborn’s illness.

Milly posted a video of herself checking up on her sick child as she revealed they were preparing to rush the baby to the hospital.

In her caption, she disclosed that they had been medicating their child at home but had been forced to seek professional advice when her situation worsened.

“Waking up to a sick child, especially just before we celebrate her birthday, is the worst feeling for any parent!!! Parents!! Dehydration from Rota virus is serious!! All our kids got it, starting with Taji, Princess, then Luxe. We thought we could medicate her at home like the rest after taking Taji to hospital. But we have learnt not to medicate our baby from home again just because she has the same symptoms as the siblings. We got admitted for the very first time with our baby @luxewajesus 😭😭😭. Thank you, Jesus, for healing & good health. We have shared the full story on YouTube. #NiJesus #Healing,” Milly captioned the video.

She followed it up with yet another video of herself, her hubby, and their other child in a car rushing the baby to the hospital.

That’s not all, the couple, through their respective pages urged fans to visit their YouTube page to fully understand what they were going through with their child.

“Parents!! I have learnt not to medicate my baby from home again just because she has the same symptoms as the siblings. We got admitted for the very first time with our baby @luxewajesus 😭😭😭. We are sharing the full story on YouTube now on how the events unfolded,” she wrote.

Well, while some netizens felt pity for them and prayed for the child’s quick recovery, many picked issue with the couple, blasting them for taking advantage of the baby’s situation to rake in YouTube views and clout.

Many wondered which normal parents would take their sweet time to apply makeup, rock dashing outfits, and even set up cameras to shoot content in times of a medical emergency.

The couple were dragged online for their thirst for views and clout, totally disregarding the well-being of their children.

Some even went as far as accusing the WaJesus Family of using the child and his illness to chase clout.

“This wa Jesus family sometimes I question their parenting skills ,now for instance the video of baby Luxe while she was very sick but this two have time to document it instead of rushing the baby to the hospital….ama kila mtu alee watoto wake vile anataka.”

Kaleb Owiro said:

“Katoto karembo sana lakini wazazi ni tugunia tuwili sijui walitoana wapi🤦🤦🤦 Kila kitu kwa ni content.”

Sydney Keari posted:

“Women are ranting about Kabi wa Jesus , yet they even follow those kid’s pages . How does a six month old kid post , ‘ I love you dad’ and a grown woman is there replying in the comments ?”

Imelda Okemo wrapped it up with:

“Kabi wa Jesus and his dear beloved faced what every parent dreads,… a sick child, and painfully, on the eve of the child’s birthday. In normal human instinct,…such a moment triggers panic, fear and one overriding priority is always to get the child to hospital as quickly as possible. But this family of content creators chose a different path.. Cameras came first! While the child was unwell, Millie took time to doll herself up and look camera-ready as their standby videographer began documenting the hospital journey on their YouTube channel. A medical emergency was reduced to a YouTube video. Parental responsibility was blurred for content, and parenting took a back seat for monetisation. It was raw, uncomfortable and frankly twisted. Some lines should never be crossed and a child’s vulnerability should never be turned into clickbait. But the backlash has been swift and unforgiving😅😅😅 Kenyans have read for them proper… reminding them that children are not content, emergencies are not episodes and parenthood is not a performance. Mimi hawa na the Bahatis walinishinda kufollow.”

This is not the first time the couple is being trolled over their misplaced priorities in their chase for stardom and relevance.
