A one-year-old boy from Bihar’s Bettiah village in India has stunned the world after killing a deadly cobra that had attacked him.
Nairobi News has learnt the kid bit a cobra to death after the reptile coiled around his hand while playing with friends near his home.
The child, named Govinda, responded diligently following the cobra attack and bit it to death.

Following Govinda’s bite, the cobra died instantly.
However, the kid fell unconscious just moments after biting the snake and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
According to India Today, area residents reported that the cobra slithered and coiled itself around the kid’s hand, possibly agitating him.
In quick reflex, the toddler dug his teeth deep the cobra, sending it to it’s early demise immediately.
A few hours after the shocking occurrence, Govinda’s condition began to deteriorate.
His family first took him to a nearby Primary Health Centre (PHC), from where he was referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Bettiah.
Nairobi News understands that Doctors at GMCH confirmed the child is now stable and under observation following the incident.
Mateshwari Devi, the child’s grandmother, said Govinda’s mother was nearby collecting firewood when the snake appeared.
“The snake came out, and the child hit it with something and then bit and killed it. It was a gehuaan (cobra). The child is just one year old,” she disclosed.

The incident stunned countless netizens who could not help but laud the boy for his bravery.
Many insisted that the toddler deserved to be honoured as a hero for his bravery.
