Comedian and content creator 2Mbili is counting his blessings after surviving yet another road accident in 2025.
Nairobi News has learnt that the entertainer was involved in a collision on the night of Thursday, October 16, 2025, when his BMW reportedly rammed into another vehicle, leaving the front bumper badly damaged.
Although details about the exact location of the accident remain unclear, sources close to the comedian revealed that he was heading home after attending Shalkido’s burial in Juja.
2Mbili has not disclosed whether anyone sustained injuries during the crash.
Taking to social media on the morning of Friday, October 17, the comedian shared a video showing the extent of the damage to his car.
The clip captured the vehicle’s bonnet badly wrecked, with airbags deployed.
A breakdown tow truck could also be seen trying to pull the BMW from the scene.
His post quickly attracted attention from fellow celebrities, including Oga Obinna, and dozens of fans who flocked to the comments section to express concern and wish him well.
Many sympathised with him, urging the comedian to practice safe driving and avoid over-speeding whenever he is on the road.
Others wondered why misfortune seemed to follow him, noting that this was not the first time he had been involved in an accident with the same BMW.
Some fans even joked that the car might be “gari la mikosi” and advised him to sell it and buy another one.
Above all, many reminded him to be cautious behind the wheel, with some humorously warning him “usije ukaandamana na Shalkido mbinguni.”
2Mbili Takes Responsibility
Barely hours after the accident, 2Mbili took to social media once again to share more details about the happenings.
In a post sighted by Nairobi News, the comedian revealed the accident occured in Kitengela.

He went on to disclose that he rammed into a lorry but thanked God for saving him.
According to the comedian, the whole accident was his fault as he dosed off on the steering wheel due to fatigue and exhaustion.
He also used the opportunity to thank Komarock Modern Clinic whose ambulance arrived at the scene on time.
2Mbili thanked his fans for their prayers, phone calls and concern, holding he could not respond to everyone since he was undergoing several medical checkups after the accident.
“Thanks to Komarock Modern Clinic for the quick response at the accident scene in Kitengela last night at 12 midnight when fatigue took over me and I slept on the steering wheel and I rammed into a lorry. How I am alive is God’s favour. Thanks to all your “POLE” and calls which I unfortunately could not pick as I was going through a couple of checkups. For now, tusiblame gari, blame the driver. God win siku zombo,” he wrote.
