A 63-year-old man died suddenly after becoming unconscious at his home in the Karura area of Nairobi.
William Ochieng Ondera had lunch with his wife at around 2pm on September 3, 2026, before going to sleep as he prepared for his evening duties.
At around 4pm, his family attempted to wake him up so he could report to work but found him unconscious and unresponsive.
He was rushed to Lintari Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police officers who visited the hospital found the body of a male adult at the facility and called in Scenes of Crime personnel, who processed the scene.
The body had no visible injuries or foam, according to police.
It was moved to the City Mortuary pending an autopsy to establish the cause of death.
And a 28-year-old man has died after allegedly being assaulted by known people in Siranga, within Mowlem, Nairobi.
Simon Mutiso Ndinda was reportedly attacked at around 8am on September 2, 2026, sustaining severe head and body injuries. The motive for the assault has not been established.
According to his mother, Ndinda did not seek medical attention or report the incident to police immediately after the assault.
His condition reportedly worsened on September 3 at around 2.30pm, prompting his family to take him to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital for treatment.
However, he succumbed to the injuries at around 3.45pm while undergoing treatment, according to hospital authorities.
Police visited the hospital and confirmed the death. His body was preserved at the facility’s mortuary pending an autopsy to establish the cause of death.
Police are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the assault and identify those responsible.
And a 53-year-old man was found dead inside his living room in Magenta Close along Karen Plains Road, Nairobi, on Thursday.
David Colville Otuoma, a resident of House Number 230, was discovered lying face down on the floor with blood oozing from his mouth and nose.
Preliminary investigations established that Otuoma was hypertensive and was undergoing medication.
The scene was processed by Crime Scene Investigation officers from Lang’ata before the body was removed to Lee Funeral Home for preservation.
An autopsy will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
