TikTok offers subscriptions that allow users to support their favorite creators with monthly payments. These subscriptions often come with exclusive content, special badges, or other perks. However, if you no longer wish to continue your subscription for any reason—whether it’s cost-related, loss of interest, or something else—TikTok makes it easy to cancel.
TikTok Subscriptions
TikTok subscriptions are typically set up through the app store on your device. For Android users, subscriptions are managed through Google Play, while iPhone users manage theirs through the Apple App Store. Cancelling a subscription does not remove your access immediately—you will still enjoy the benefits until the end of your current billing period.
Cancelling on iPhone (iOS)
If you subscribed through your iPhone or iPad, start by going to the Settings app on your device. Tap on your name at the top of the screen, then select “Subscriptions.” A list of your active subscriptions will appear. Find the TikTok subscription you wish to cancel and tap on it. You will then see the option to cancel. Tap “Cancel Subscription” and confirm your choice. Once cancelled, you will not be charged in the next billing cycle.
Cancelling on Android (Google Play)
Android users can cancel subscriptions through the Google Play Store. Open the Play Store app and tap on your profile picture in the top right corner. From the menu, select “Payments & subscriptions,” then tap on “Subscriptions.” Locate your TikTok subscription and tap it. You will see a “Cancel Subscription” option. Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation.
What Happens After You Cancel
Once cancelled, your subscription will remain active until the current period ends. You will still have access to exclusive content and badges until that time. TikTok will not charge you again unless you manually resubscribe in the future.
