Fans defend Stivo Simple Boy after viral video shows him struggling to eat using fork and knife


Kenyans have always shown their love and support to artist Stivo Simple Boy not just because of his music talent but also his raw personality.

Many are times the artist has impressed fans by being authentic and never faking in anything and everything he does.

Stivo recently warmed hearts on social media after bringing out his normal self during a dinner date with his heavily pregnant wife and a Mzungu couple.

The star took to his TikTok page on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, and posted a video of themselves enjoying dinner at a fancy restaurant.

In the video, Stivo could be seen struggling to eat using a fork and knife.

Being the realest Kenya that ever existed, the artist could be seen doing away with the cutlery and digging into his food using his hands.

In his caption, Stivo admitted that indeed he found it difficult eating using a fork and knife.

“Mambo ya wazungu siwezi,” he captioned.

A section of netizens took the opportunity to drag him online for embarrassing Kenyans with his backwards table manners.

However, a majority of netizens who interacted with the video which has fast gone viral rallied behind Stivo, admitting that he was right to ignore the fork and knife.

Many noted that most Africans are known for not using knifes and forks while eating.

He received massive support from Kenyans who lauded him for his authenticity.
