How to Change Your Email on TikTok (If You Can Access Your Current Email)

1. Open TikTok and go to your Profile page.
2. Tap the three lines menu (☰ or ≡) at the top right.
3. Select Settings and privacy.
4. Tap Account.
5. Choose Account information.
6. Select Email.
7. Tap Change email.
8. TikTok will send a verification code to your current email.
   • Open your email, copy the code, and enter it into TikTok.
9. Once verified, enter your new email address.
10. TikTok will send another verification code to your new email.
    • Enter the code to confirm the change.

Your email is now updated.

How to Change Your Email If You’ve Lost Access to Your Old One

If you can’t access your old email anymore, you will need to verify your identity another way.

1. Go to Profile → Settings and privacy.
2. Tap Account → Account information → Email.
3. Select Change email.
4. When asked for a verification code and you cannot receive it, tap Having trouble? or I can’t access this email.
5. TikTok may ask you to:
   • Verify your phone number linked to the account, OR
   • Submit ID verification to prove ownership.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity.
7. Once verified, enter your new email and confirm.

You must have access to the phone number linked to the TikTok account.

1. Go to Settings and privacy.
2. Tap Report a problem.
3. Select Account and profile.
4. Choose Email and phone number.
5. Tap I can’t change my email or Other.
6. Tap Need more help? and write a message explaining:
