Fresh details have emerged in the ongoing inheritance saga surrounding Kenyan businesswoman Esther Musila, after another of her sons publicly came to her defence, dismissing claims that she was disinherited.
The latest statement, shared in a viral poster circulating online, sees her son firmly push back against reports suggesting that their mother had lost control of her late husband’s estate.
According to him, the claims are not only misleading but completely false.
“It has come to our attention that there are misleading claims suggesting that our mother has been disinherited… these claims are false. There has been no disinheritance of our mother at any point,” part of the statement reads.

Son Breaks Silence Amid Viral Rumours
The remarks come at a time when Musila and her family have been trending over allegations that one of her sons had taken her to court over the estate of her late husband, Erick Naibei.
Reports indicated that the legal dispute stemmed from concerns over transparency in the management of the multimillion-shilling estate, with claims that some assets had allegedly not been disclosed.
However, in the new statement, the son clarified that while there have been legal proceedings within the family, they should not be misconstrued as a sign of conflict.
“Like many families, we have had internal legal processes… These are normal legal mechanisms and do not reflect division or conflict within our family,” he stated.
Family insists Esther Musila remains administrator
The poster further reveals that after the death of their father in 2016, the family followed due legal process, with Musila appointed as the head administrator of the estate.
Her son emphasised that the succession process was conducted lawfully and transparently, reinforcing her continued authority over the estate.
“Letters of administration were duly issued, with our mother as the head administrator and us as beneficiaries,” he explained.
Background Of The Court Battle
According to an earlier report by Nairobi News, the dispute began when one of Musila’s sons moved to court challenging her handling of the estate, raising concerns over alleged hidden assets and lack of full disclosure.
The case fueled widespread speculation online, with some reports claiming that Musila had lost her position as the sole administrator and that the estate would be redistributed among the children.
There were also claims that her remarriage to gospel singer Guardian Angel had influenced the situation, allegations that the family has strongly denied.
Children Rally Behind Their Mother
Despite the controversy, Musila’s children appear united in defending her, insisting that the narrative being pushed online is inaccurate and exaggerated.
In the poster, the son also dismissed claims targeting their stepfather, maintaining that he has no interest in the family wealth.
“Any suggestions that he has ulterior motives or is pursuing family property are baseless, malicious, and untrue,” he added.

A Family Matter Blown Out Of Proportion
The latest statement paints a picture of a family dealing with internal legal matters that have been sensationalized in the public eye.
While the court case initially suggested deep divisions, Musila’s children now insist that there is no fallout and that their mother’s rights remain intact.
As the saga continues to unfold, the family has urged the public to rely on verified facts rather than online speculation, emphasizing that the truth behind the inheritance row is far less dramatic than portrayed.
