Azziad Naisenya ‘s Kileleshwa home auctioned over default on Sh 25 million mortgage


TikTok star Azziad Naisenya made a lot of money when she became a regional sensation.

Endorsement deals, gigs and even jobs trickled her way after going viral with her Utawezana dance challenge video.

Then, Azziad did the needful by improving her life, including buying herself a home in the leafy Kileleshwa neighbourhood.

Well, everything seemed to be working on her side until a couple of months ago when problems started trailing her.

From being exposed for taking up huge loans from friends and failing to pay to now, being auctioned after defaulting on her mortgage.

Nairobi News has learnt the TikToker is currently facing a major meltdown after her Kileleshwa home was put up for auction.

According to a gazette notice and sources intimate to the star, she reportedly failed to repay a Sh 25 million mortgage.

The gazette notice sighted by this publication confirmed that the auction will take place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 11.00 AM, at the Jeevan Bharati Building, Nairobi.

The notice disclosed that Azziad’s house which located on Block A along Oloitoktok Road, Lavington and which is set for the auction is a 4-bedroom apartment complete with a servants’ quarter.

The apartment, measuring approximately 256 square meters is owner-occupied and suitable for residential purposes.

The conditions of sale, as detailed in the auction notice, specify that interested buyers must pay a 10% deposit via electronic funds transfer, banker’s cheque, or cash at the fall of the hammer.

The balance is due within 90 days.

Additionally, a refundable deposit of Sh 100,000 is required to obtain a bidding number.

A quick online research by this site discovered that the rates for units at the Ravi Apartments, where Azziad’s property is located, range between Sh 24.5 million and Sh 29.5 million.

The latest sad turn of events unfolded barely a month after self-proclaimed billionaire Madollar Mapesa disclosed the lass had finally paid up her Sh 2.5 million loan which had taken long to be cleared.

Madollar lauded Azziad for working hard and clearing the debt and urged other people with his monies to follow suit.

The past few months have seen Azziad being accused of financial mismanagement which led her to ruin most of her relationships with friends for taking up loans with them and failing to pay up.

Addressing the issue, Azziad admitted that indeed she has been in serious debt having faced financial difficulties.
