Bahati’s baby mama Yvette says ‘Yes’ as new lover engages her


Singer Bahati’s baby mama Yvette Obura is officially off the market, Nairobi News has learnt.

The mother of one has found new love and she cannot waste any more time even as she tries her luck with love once again.

Nairobi News has learnt Obura’s new man went down on one knee and asked her for a hand in marriage.

News about the engagement was first made public by Yvette who posted a lovely video highlighting the whole process.

In the video, Yvette who rocked a red dress and her man are seen approaching a picnic setup where he goes down and pop the big question.

Clearly loves truck by her new boo, Yvette Obura said yes and she could not help but share the good news with her fans online.

Through her caption, the mum of one disclosed she had decided to forget about her past relationships and sad memories and give love another shot.

“I said Yes to the man that struck my heart like lightening. I said Yes to him that fills my heart with peace. I said Yes to this man that made me believe in love again,” she posted.

Yvette gushed over her new man on end as she thanked him for making her believe in love again.

“From today, I have agreed with heavens and earth to erase my past. Past sad memories, past failed relationships. All times I said “I love you” were a mistake and because God has brought the right one my way. I choose to start all again and call him my first love,” Yvette said.

His post impressed most of her fans who thronged the comments section to congratulate her on her newfound romance.

The latest development unfolded about two years after disclosing she is single and not interested in love anymore.

While there had been past rumors and photos suggesting new relationships, she confirmed in a May 2024, interview that she is content being single.
