Billy Miya Vows To Take Action After Losing iPhone 14 Promax To Thugs


Kenyan media personality and content creator Billy Miya is counting losses after reportedly losing his expensive iPhone 14 Pro Max to thieves in Nairobi CBD.

The popular presenter disclosed through social media that he was left devastated after the high-end device was stolen, admitting that the incident had greatly affected his mood.

Taking to his socials, Billy shared an emotional message hinting that he would not let the matter slide.

While expressing frustration, he also suggested he could resort to unconventional means in pursuit of justice.

“Aliyeniibia iPhone 14 Pro Max yangu Leo hapa Nairobi jua siachii Mungu 😥” he wrote.

The statement quickly sparked reactions online, with many Kenyans interpreting it as a warning that he could be considering using “Kamotee” method, a popular phrase often associated with traditional ways of exposing thieves.

Billy, however, did not disclose whether he intended to pursue the matter legally or traditionally.

Fans and followers immediately camped in the comments section to console him, with many sympathizing over the loss of such an expensive gadget.

Others urged him to report the matter to authorities and track the device through Apple’s security systems.

The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max remains one of Apple’s premium smartphones and still costs between Sh 120,000 and Sh 180,000 in Kenya depending on storage size and condition, making it a major loss for many young professionals and entertainers.
