Kansiime’s latest relationship reveal comes barely a year after she confirmed the end of her romance with Skylanta, the father of her son, Jayden Sellasie.

The two had for years appeared to be one of the most admired celebrity couples in Uganda, often sharing playful moments and family content online.

In March 2025, Kansiime publicly opened up about the breakup, explaining that motherhood significantly changed her priorities and eventually affected the romantic bond between them.

According to the comedian, the arrival of their son shifted her focus fully toward parenting, leaving little room to nurture their relationship.

Despite the separation, Kansiime maintained that there was no bad blood between her and Skylanta, insisting that co-parenting remained the most important thing for the sake of their child.

Her revelation about a new lover has now reignited conversations on social media, with fans praising her for choosing happiness and moving on gracefully after the difficult split.

Reports circulating online claim that the comedian’s new man is named Gilbert, with some blogs alleging that the two have been quietly seeing each other for some time before making the relationship public.

The development has especially excited Kansiime’s fans who have followed her personal journey over the years, from heartbreak and divorce to motherhood and rebuilding her life.

Before dating Skylanta, Kansiime was previously married to Gerald Ojok, but the marriage ended in divorce in 2017.

Over the years, the comedian has openly spoken about love, relationships, heartbreak, and the challenges of balancing fame with personal life.

Beyond her relationships, Kansiime remains one of Africa’s biggest comedy exports.

The Ugandan entertainer rose to continental fame through her viral comedy skits and television appearances, eventually becoming a household name across East Africa.
