Gospel musician Daddy Owen has proven to the world that being a celebrity does not mean hiding people close to the principal.
This is after he took to social media to not only introduce his mother but also shower her with love and praises as she turned a year older.
Owen, on Sunday, July 27, 2025, posted a photo of his mother, followed by a nice caption to celebrate her birthday.

In his caption sighted by Nairobi News, the System Ya Kapungala hitmaker acknowledged the fact that his mother sacrificed a lot to see him and his siblings through school and life in general.
According to Owen, his mother instilled discipline in them and showed them how to live in love and harmony.
The singer also noted that their father played a key role in making them the successful people they are today.
“Mum, through God’s grace you gave us everything…love, discipline and the strength to dream. You made sure we had food, clothes and education no matter the cost. I will forever be grateful for you and our late dad. I love you deeply. Happy birthday Maadhe. Happy birthday mum. I am forever grateful to God for blessing me with such a wonderful mum,” Owen wrote.
His post reasonated with most of his online fans who joined him in wishing his mother a happy one on her special day.
Owen’s cute birthday message to his mother came just months after he came out to clear the air on his relationship with William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene.
The star was forced to out things into perspective after viral Benny Hinn’s prayer.
Speaking during a media interview, Daddy Owen sought to clarify that Charlene is just a supportive friend who is always willing to help in his community projects.

“This is something I have been asked severally and I answered… anyone will want to fabricate things around it and people started doing that. But never did I ever mention something apart from what I have always said and also what she has kept on saying. I have always insisted that me and Charlene are just friends and she has been supporting most of my projects and I also do the same,” he disclosed.
“So I don’t think there is something more that can be discussed past that,” Owen added.
At the same time, Owen argued that he normally posts other people on his socials but Netizens are just insisting on Charlene.
The gospel musician also mentioned that currently, he is not ready to make his relationship public following his previous experience.
“Marriage is not something that I’m thinking about right now. At the moment have many things that I’m doing, so I can’t say I want to marry anytime soon but I always say marriage is a good thing,” he stated.
