In July 2022, he coached the Italian professional tennis player, Jannik Sinner together with coach Simone Vagnozzi. Both coaches won Coach of the Year award at the 2023 ATP Awards.

He continued coaching Jannik Sinner and as a result, she won the 2024 Australian Open, US Open and the 2025 Australian Open and the Wimbledon.
