Popular Kenyan radio personality and DJ, DJ Xclusive, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of his father, who passed away after battling illness for a week while receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Nairobi West Hospital.
The sad news has sparked an outpouring of sympathy from fans, fellow entertainers and friends across the country.
The entertainer shared the devastating update through an emotional social media post, revealing that despite doctors doing everything possible to save his father’s life, he succumbed to the illness on Sunday morning at 10:40 a.m.
In his touching message, DJ Xclusive wrote:
“Good afternoon, my Dad has been ill for the last one week at Nairobi west hospital admitted at ICU, despite all the effort by the doctors to treat him unfortunately He passed away today morning at 10:40am 😢 I’d like to make a formal request for your prayers and any financial assistance to settle his hospital bill and make funeral arrangements 🙏🏿 Any contribution can be made to my number 0724498169 Thank you in advance and I ask for your prayers during this difficult period.”
Although the celebrated DJ did not disclose the exact illness his father had been battling, his message reflected both the pain of losing a loved one and the heavy financial burden that often accompanies prolonged intensive care treatment.
As funeral preparations begin, DJ Xclusives has appealed to Kenyans, friends and well-wishers to stand with his family through prayers and financial support to help offset the outstanding hospital bill and facilitate burial arrangements.
