Veteran Luo music star Dola Kabarry’s wife, Connie kabarry has clapped back on critics who have been on her case after she bought their daughter a pricey Prado in 2022.
Taking to her Facebook page on Friday, August 8, the wife said people should let her be in peace as they worked hard for their money and can do whatever they wish with it.
In her long post sighted by Nairobi News, Connie disclosed she even bought her son a car and a two bedroom apartment.
She stated that people’s noises will not stop her from giving her children the best that life has to offer.
Connie reiterated that an expensive gift like a Prado for their children is not a big deal.

“I see people talking about giving my daughter a Prado as if it’s a big deal! Yo! I also bought my Son a car and a 2 bedroom apartment, taking them to good schools and I will do more for them! I was about to buy a two bedroom apartment for my daughter too before Aladwa conned me the Sh 17 million kwani who are you working for guys if not your children 🙄,” she wrote.
She held that God has been faithful to them as they have never lacked.
“Just give me 2 years, we will come back here to compare notes, what Aladwa stole from me is money that I made, am still here, my brain, skills and knowledge still intact, II will still make money,!go shock you! Even at this point.. God has been faithful, we’ve never begged for food, got sick,went to the best hospital The Aghakhan,never begged for the hospital bills,that tells you how faithful God is,” she added.
She wrapped up by explaining her earlier post through which she pleaded for financial support from fans.
This publication understands Connie had called on fans to assist her raise funds to sort some issues following a suggestion from one of her fans.
“We aren’t paying rent because we already bought an apartment for us too😊 thanks to my husband, he has been providing for us, I just hate seeing him do things by himself, I want to help. So don’t celebrate yet, it’s not that bad 🤣🤣 God is still holding us, and when I posted about raising funds, as it was suggested by one of my fans, the post was meant for my genuine fans who are genuinely doing it and I deeply appreciate them,” Connie wrote.

Connie slammed critics laughing at her online and who remind her of their Prado gift to their daughter.
“So some haters that think am down and celebrating shame on you 🤣🤣, let me assure you that am still perfectly better than you!Kwa hayo yote.. Let’s meet at Club mamba Kisumu tomorrow for that marvelous performance from our very own Kabachwa 🥰🥰🥰🥰,” she added.
This comes about three years after Connie and hubby Kabarry made national headlines for buying their daughter a car.
In March 2022, Dola Kabarry decided to celebrate his daughter’s success in that year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exam results in style.
Taking to his social media page, the musician revealed that his daughter, Sherly Mikal scored 413 in the national exam and there was no better way he would celebrate her success than by buying her a car.
Kabarry revealed that he had to buy a Toyota Prado for his daughter to fulfil a promise he gave her before she sat for KCPE.
According to him, he and his wife promised to buy their daughter a “big car” and a phone if she scored 400 marks in the national exam. True to their words, the celebrity couple bought their daughter a Prado and a phone worth Ksh150,000.
“Daddy nikipata 400 and above utanibuyia gari kubwa na mami anibuyie simu ya Samsung. Here we are baby, here we are. Congratulations my baby,” Kabarry’s wife Connie wrote online as she showed the gifts they gave their daughter.
Kabarry wrote:
“You promised and you delivered. We promised we had to deliver too. Congratulations once again for getting 413 marks in your KCPE at Kitengela International School, Proud of you, my daughter. Enjoy your machine.”
The couple’s decision to buy their daughter an expensive machine came back to haunt them years later.
